Investigate Litra Glow for an on-camera lighting job
A streaming-light format is relevant when the person in the camera frame needs a separate light position. Verify the documented host, mount and controls for the actual setup.
Skip it if: The unresolved job is illuminating the desk, the mounting or USB route is unsuitable, or the lighting you already own handles the call setup.
A keyboard area, a paper notebook and the person in a video call are different lighting jobs. Before choosing a product, name the actual unresolved task and check what the current setup already does. A light that suits one position is not automatically the purchase you need for another.
Litra Glow and ScreenBar Pro illustrate two formats: a streaming light intended for an on-camera subject and a monitor-mounted task light for the desk. We compare the documented jobs and setup requirements. We have not measured brightness, reflections, camera results, color accuracy or comfort with either product.
Which area needs the light?
On-camera subject
Inspect the person and background in the actual call preview.
Desk task surface
Inspect the keyboard, notes and other working areas.

Compare the placement problem before the feature list
For a call, inspect the actual frame and the light sources already present. Record where the subject sits, where the camera is mounted and which area needs a different light position. Camera exposure features do not remove the need to evaluate the room and the chosen frame.
For desk work, mark the keyboard, reading area and items that may block the intended light path. If a separate lamp already handles that work, keep it in the comparison. The goal is a suitable position for the task rather than replacing every existing light with equipment from one product family.

Trace the exact power and control route
Logitech’s Litra Glow specification lists a USB 3.0 port requirement and a USB-C-to-USB-A cable. BenQ lists a numeric input requirement for ScreenBar Pro. Keep each product’s actual instructions attached to its own connection plan; the USB version name is not a current or wattage value.
Record the exact port, cable and supported host or supply. If a manufacturer does not supply a numeric input rating in the source you have, do not invent one to fill a worksheet. A rating from another port on the same hub is not evidence about the socket you intend to use.
Litra Glow lists G HUB as optional software for additional controls. Check which specific functions you need and whether the current software and operating-system requirements fit the computer, especially a managed work device. Do not treat a software-controlled feature as available everywhere.
Reserve room for the complete mounting arrangement
A light head’s width is not the complete space requirement. Litra Glow’s specification separates the body from the monitor-mount arrangement at full extension. Use the relevant configuration when checking clearance, movement and the cable route.
A light bar and a webcam can compete for the same screen area. Adding another light does not remove that mounting problem. Sketch the camera, light, screen housing and any stand or clamp together, then verify the exact product instructions. Do not infer that two individually compatible accessories can be stacked.
Keep unmatched lighting numbers out of the ranking
A lumen-output headline and a lux-based desk-coverage claim describe different things and conditions. They are not a matched comparative test. Do not use the larger-looking number to declare a winner for both calls and desk work.
Instead, compare the required job, the documented mounting and control arrangement, and the power path you can support. Use the actual call preview or task area to evaluate the equipment you already own. This guide does not turn manufacturer marketing into an independent performance score or a health claim.
Choose one unresolved job to solve first
Investigate a streaming-light format when on-camera illumination is the specific missing part and the documented setup fits. Investigate a monitor task bar when the desk surface is the actual target and its mounting and power requirements pass. There may be no need to buy either if the current lighting already handles the intended work.
Check the exact model, current retailer listing, included components and return conditions before ordering. Keep camera selection, mounting compatibility and the lighting job as separate checks. A narrow purchase decision is easier to verify than assuming one new accessory will improve every part of a call and desk setup.

BenQ ScreenBar Pro
A monitor-mounted task-light option with automatic brightness adjustment.
Check the fit: Check the housing shape, webcam arrangement, and power requirements of your exact screen.
A streaming-light format to investigate for a person in the camera frame rather than the desk-surface task.
Check the fit: Check current OS/USB requirements and the actual mounting and cable route. Optional software features are a separate check; no call-quality or comfort result has been measured here.
