Will the whole setup
fit on your desk?
Plan a laptop-and-stand row behind a keyboard and mouse. A small stand does not remove the laptop’s overhang or the room your mouse needs.
Starting desk and device sizes are illustrations. Replace them with your own measurements. Named stand and keyboard presets use manufacturer dimensions.

Back row: the larger laptop/stand outline. Front row: keyboard beside a mouse movement zone. The gap applies between rows and between the two front zones.
This is a top-view space estimate. It does not check height, support strength, clamp fit, cable travel or comfort. Keep any additional space you need for hands and other tasks.

How the estimate works
The back row uses the larger laptop or stand measurement on each axis. The front row adds keyboard width, a gap and the mouse movement-zone width. Overall width is the wider row; depth is the two row depths plus the gap. This conservative rectangular model does not nest objects under the stand.
The named presets use published stand width and depth: Rain Design mStand ↗ and Twelve South Curve Flex ↗. Keyboard presets use the expanded US specification panels for Pebble Keys 2 K380s ↗ and MX Keys Mini ↗. Measure the laptop in its intended position and leave the other clearance your real setup needs.
